Well, this entry is way late. The party occurred Saturday! It is her birthday today, though (Happy Birthday Julie!).
So, I was invited by Julie to come over to her birthday party. I was iffy on it because I am really bad socializing, and stuff related to that. I decided to go though, and I do not regret! I have went to few parties, but I must say this one was the best ever! My buddy, Sunny came with me and it began with spotting a zip-line that a couple of friends, Pearl and Joshua, were occupying. We played on it for a bit, and it was the first time in my life that I have ever used a zip line! It traveled so far, and went really fast!
Painting things with friendly peers and listening to music in Julie’s room (it is really colorful) was the next thing. I made something with a big eyeball, ghost-kitty, a “cool guy” (he really is cool) with a big pompadour, and a little yellow man. It was put on canvas and painted with acrylic paints. I am not used to that type of media!
It was time to sing the birthday song to Julie and examine her open the presents. We snacked on the snacks and the people began to watch a movie… I wasn’t really interested in it, so I went back into Julie’s room to go paint some more with buddies, finishing it. I didn’t bring it home, so I can’t show it, but it is not that great at all. I promise! My friend Andrea came by later.
So, by now it was pitch dark outside, and me, Sunny, Andrea, Pearl, and Joshua went to go play on the zip-line some more. Note that Julie’s house is in a woodland area, with trees everywhere, and the zip-line descends into the woods, so it was kind of thrilling to imagine spooky creatures lingering in the woods at night! It was really fun, and a little later, Joshua said that there was a cabin in the woods that we can go to. We formed a chain and walked into the dark woods, to the cabin. I don’t know how far we traveled but it felt a good distance. I felt solitude. So nice!
The cabin was on high stilts and it had a desk, bed, lamp, book shelf, and a water dispenser. It was pretty homey! We got the lampshade from the lamp and played a game where you put the lampshade on your head and say your feelings you want to keep secret, or ask a question you’d want to be secret. I was terrible at it; I said nothing.
We stared at the stars and talked about what wacky things we believed when we were wee children. It was really funny! Maybe I should say mine? I used to think girls peed from their butt because they didn’t have any penis… Agh! I was laughed at, but it was a silly feeling.
It was time to go back to Julie’s place, and few people were there. We all chatted together and snacked some. Now it was time to go home, so me and Sunny left.
We went to sleep soon after we got home.
Okay, that is all.
I ordered some Koss Portapro headphones!
I hope they get here safely.
